Somfy - Meryem Zaimi Campaign process
The challenge
Somfy needed to break out of the niche domotics conversation and land their full range in the everyday vocabulary of Moroccan households. The brand needed scale, emotion and a face the audience would actually recognize - and the previous catalogue-style videos weren't going to deliver any of it.
Our solution
We produced the first Somfy brand film shot entirely abroad, casting Moroccan actress Meryem Zaimi as the lead. A cinematic production setup - full crew, foreign location, scripted scenarios across the smart-home journey - let us tell a single story that covered every product line, from shutters to gate openers, without ever feeling like a product reel.
The result
The film crossed 20 million views on Instagram alone and became Somfy's most shared piece of content in the country. Brand awareness lifted on every tracked attribute and the asset was reused across TV, paid social and dealer materials for two full years after launch.
